Two parents, one name you both love
You each swipe on your own phone, at your own pace. A name only shows up as a match when you’ve both said yes, so nobody has to defend a name the other one quietly hates.
The names you pass on stay private. Your partner can’t look through them, and that’s enforced on our server, not just hidden in the app.
And if you’re naming on your own, every part of it works solo.

A first name is only half the decision. Pick a first name and a middle name from the names you’ve kept, add your last name, and read the whole name together before you commit to it.

Questions
Does my partner need the app too?
Only if you want to choose together. You each install it on your own phone and connect with a short room code. There’s no account to make. On your own, everything works without pairing.
What if we never match?
A match only appears when you both say yes, so it can take a while. Two things help: you can ask your partner to look at a name you love, and you can go back through the names you passed on and keep some as middle names.
Is it a subscription?
No. The app is free to use and has no ads. There’s one optional unlock, bought once through the App Store or Google Play, and if you’ve paired it covers you both. You can restore it on a new phone from the unlock screen.
Can my partner see the names I turned down?
No. Only the names you say yes to are shared, and only once you’ve both said yes to the same one. The one exception is a name your partner asks you about directly: if you pass on that one, you’re both told at the same moment.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your shared list is tied to your room code, not to your phone. Install the app again, type in the room code, and choose which of you is which. Names you’ve already swiped stay swiped. If you never paired, your names were stored only on that phone.
Can I use it on my own?
Yes. Everything works solo, and what you swipe and type stays on your phone unless you pair with someone.
Does it work without signal?
Swiping does. Every name is already on your phone, so you can swipe on a plane and your matches catch up when you’re back online.
Which phones does it run on?
iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets.
